Granite-topped "furniture style" decorative vanity,
white toilet with fluted base, satin nickel fixtures,
completely remodeled in 2007. Lincrusta ceiling
ornament. Predominantly off white
with touch of pale teal blue and goldenrod. Decorative
plinth and corner blocks. Restored with historic
mosaics, prominently used in the shower and bathroom
floor. Mosaic patterns characteristic of
turn-of-century. Original stained glass in pale blue and
yellow, above door entryway. 8x10'
Full Second floor bath: Stippled painted grand
bathroom with wallpapered ceiling, sealed for
preservation in humid areas. Spanish Revival style,
featuring terracotta and warm golden colors. Decoupage
insets in wall surrounding door. Shower, two-basin sink,
and Jacuzzi (jets not operational). 14x14'
First Floor Guest Powder room: Renovated in 2006.
Tall 12' ceilings, with picture rail and 3-part
Victorian decorating scheme in warm creme, caramel, and
chocolate colors. Marble floor in mottled sienna colors.
Small toilet with fluted base. Brocaded wallpaper.
Fixtures in satin nickel. 5x8'
Full Basement Bathroom - Enclosed shower, tumbled
marble tile floor, completely renovated in 2006, vanity
in light peach/creme, white marble top, vintage toilet
with fluted base, walls in pale grass green and pale
rose. Fixtures in chrome with white antique handles.
Pale cream decorative ceiling tiles, polyurethane coated
for use in humid areas. Approximately 6x10' |
| Historic Features:
Third floor bathroom features historic mosaic design
(re-creation of designs associated with era and location
of home), with brilliant cut glass window original to
home. Stained glass inset over door original to home.
Entry to bathroom is 3" pine plank, original to home,
painted off-white and sealed. Genuine British Lincrusta
at ceiling line. Second floor bathroom
features traditional Victorian wallpaper ceiling
(sealed), and fixture (rewired) from the 1920s. Some
moldings are original, 6" wide fluted mahogany.
First floor bathroom, though remodeled in period
style, contains original ceiling fixture in antiqued
brass and etched glass. |
