shades of terracotta and cream -- like an Italian artist's loft.

The basement
interior (hidden) brick walls and foundation were completely
re-pointed and restored in 2005. While many DC brownstones
feature crumbling basements due to age, this home is in tip-top
shape.

on the second floor was inspired by Whistler's peacock room.
